----------(SchoolofEnergyandEnvironmentalEngineeringHebeiUniversityofTechnologyTianjin300401,China)Severalcommonpurificationtechnicsusedfortreatingcadmiumwastewaterwerereviewed,whoseadvantagesanddisadvantagesweresummarized,andtheexistingproblemswerepointedout.Aftercomparison,itwasfoundthattheremovalefficiencyofthelowconcentrationcadmiumionswasbetterwiththeadsorptionmethodandthecoagulationsedimentationmethod,whichshowedbroadapplicationprospects.Theadsorptionmethodhadawiderangeofapplication,andwouldnotcausepollutiontotheenvironment;thecoagulationsedimentationprocesswassimple,technologywasmature,themedicinewascheap,andthecyclewasshortandeffective.Finally,thefuturedevelopmenttrendofcadmiumpollutedwatertreatmenttechnologywasprospected,totreatlowconcentrationcadmiumpollutedsourcewaterwithadsorptionmethodorcoagulationsedimentationmethodorthecombinationofthesetwotreatmenttechnologiesandothertechnologies,whichwouldbeofgreatsignificancetothefuturelarge-scaleremediationofcadmiumcontaminatedsourcewater.cadmiumpollution;processingtechnology;adsorptionmethod;coagulationsedimentationmethod---------------------
