OnCollegeStudents’gettingmarriedRecentlytherehasbeenaheateddebateamongpeopleonwhethercollegestudentsshouldbeallowedtogetmarriedduringtheirstudies.Tothispeople’sattitudesdiffersharply.Somepeopleholdtheviewthatcollegestudentsareadultsandthatisabasicrightforthosewhohavereachedtheappropriateagestogetmarried.Whileothersthinkproblemsmaycomealongifcollegestudentsgetmarriedduringtheirstudies.Formypart,studentsshouldnotbegrantedtogetmarriedduringtheirstudiesforthefollowingreasons.Firstofall,collegestudentsshouldfocusontheirstudiesbutnotfamilylife.Wecannotdenythatstudents’mainpriorityistostudy,iftheygetmarriedduringtheirstudies,alotoffamilyaffairswouldtakeupmuchoftheirtimeandenergy,andthismayunderminetheiracademicpursuits.Studentsstillhavetocompletetheireducationwithinafixednumberofyearsandcannotcontinuetheireducationafterleavingschooltohavechildrenorfindemployment.What’smore,collegestudentsarenotenoughmaturetogetmarried,especiallyinpsychology.Mostcollegestudentsareoutoftouchwithsociety,andtheirthoughtstendtobesimple,theyeasilymakehastydecisions.There'retoomanyuncertaintiesintheirlifeandthepressurecomesfromeverywhereiftheyreallyenterthesociety.Whentheymeetamoreattractivepeopleorencountersetbacksinmarriage,theymayregretgettingmarriedtoosoon.Lastbutnotleast,mostofcollegestudentsarenoteconomicallyindependent,andtheyarenotabletoaffordafamily.Marriageshouldhaveacertainfinancialandemotionalbasis,sotheyshouldnotgetmarriedwhileinschool.Thecostofattendinguniversityandtheextramarriageexpenseswillloadparentswithtoogreataburden.Onconclusion,collegestudentshouldnotbegrantedtogetmarriedbecauseoftheirlearningtasks,psychologicalimmaturity,andeconomicallydependent.Formingafamilyafewyearsaftergraduationshouldbeadvocatedinthelongrun.
