DevelopmentofMechanicalRepairingTechnologyforRefractories(RotaryShotMethod)AbstractAmongconventionalrepairingtechnologyforrefractories,suchassprayingorshotcastinghasbeendevelopedforlaborsavingandskillfreeofoperators.However,thedurabilityofrepairedbodybysuchmethodswasnotenoughbecausetheyusuallyneedmuchamountofwater.Ontheotherhand,wedevelopedanewrepairingtechnologythatisRotaryShotMethod,whichhasaverysimplemechanicalstructureandneedsmuchlessamountofwaterthanthatofconventionalrepairingtechnology.Consequently,ithasbeenenabletoachieveamuchlongerlifeandlaborsavingforrepairingofsteelladle.
